Where Our Clients Are Based

Our clients lead culture-shifting work. They wake up every day determined to make a difference—and so do we. Although we are based in Columbus, Ohio, we serve clients nationwide. Below are some of the cities where our clients are based.

• Columbus, OH – We are proud to be based in the heart of the Buckeye State. We relocated our business to Central Ohio in the fall of 2020, with our office in the Clintonville area near The Ohio State University. Every day, we support those needing media exposure, message development, ghostwriting, and PR coaching services.
• New York, NY – For over six years, we have served leaders and groups based in New York City and across the Empire State. Our clients and partners have included United Women in Faith, the Funders’ Collaborative for Youth Organizing, and the Alliance for Quality Education. Our services include media training, reputation management, and broader public relations support.
• Washington, DC – Spotlight PR was founded in Northern Virginia in 2016. Since 2017, we have served leaders across the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV). In the nation’s capital, rapid response is critical—and we deliver. Our time-tested strategies ensure our clients’ perspectives are consistently amplified.
• Baltimore, MD – We have proudly supported leading organizations and changemakers in Baltimore since 2018. Clients include the Baltimore Children and Youth Fund, OSI Baltimore, the Heart Nest Center, and Revolve Fund. Our services in the region include crisis communications, publicity, strategic communications, and social media management.
• Detroit, MI – Detroit is an innovation hub, and we are proud to have clients with strong ties to the Motor City. We look forward to expanding our reach in the region.
• Atlanta, GA – We’ve had the pleasure of supporting a host of leaders in the Atlanta region, including Grammy-award winning rapper Michael Render, publicly known as Killer Mike. From 2018 through 2020, our founder Jennifer R. Farmer, served as Render’s political publicist. In addition to Render, Spotlight PR has served a range of groups in Atlanta including 9to5 Georgia, the Black Church PAC, the Black Southern Women’s Collaborative, the New Georgia Project, and more.
