Spotlight Books Grand Opening

Date November 21, 2026
Time 12:00 pm
Location 107 Parsons Ave

Olde Town East doesn’t have a bookstore. We’re about to change that.

Spotlight Books is a new independent, children’s bookstore and community space opening in the heart of Olde Town East — a place where you can browse new releases and staff picks, enjoy reading time with your kiddos, sit in on author and community events, and actually cultivate a love of reading in children and youth. Although we’ll primarily carry children’s titles, we’ll also offer books from some of the amazing people I’ve met through my PR work – Dr. Marcus Anthony Hunter, Nkechi Taifa, Ruth Jeannoel, Dr. Sabrina N’Diaye and so many more.

We’re not a chain, and we’re not an algorithm. We’re my dream personified. Please join me for a grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 12:00 p.m. ET at 107 Parsons Ave.
